Prudential plc

Working on behalf of Prudential plc at the premises of John Lobb Ltd - an exclusive London shop specialising in handmade boots and shoes that dates back to the 19th century - Caswell Environmental Services Ltd undertook full decontamination and reinsulation works under CDM arrangements.

The project centred on the building's boiler room and included constructing a dumb waiter facility from the basement to the second floor and re-lagging of old pipework. To minimise disruption to the company's business, the work was carried out over four consecutive weekends in 24 hour shifts. The contract was completed on time and on budget to the complete satisfaction of the client.
